Ingredients
Unsalted Butter, Softened at Room Temp
½ Cup or 120g
Granulated White Sugar
¼ Cup or 50g
A large egg
Approx. 55g inclusive of shell
Plain Flour, Sifted
1 and ½ Cup or 180g
Baking Soda, Sifted
¼ Tsp or 1.5g
Nestle’s Nestum Cereal
Approx. ⅔ Cup or 70g
Bak Kwa
Approx 4 pieces of 120g
Directions
Step 1
Pre-heat your oven to 160 degrees C and line the baking tray with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
Step 3
Then, mix in the egg.
Step 4
Next, fold in the sifted plain flour, baking soda, Nestum cereal and bak kwa until a dough of a single consistency is formed.
Step 5
Shape batter and place on parchment paper (I used approx. 1 tablespoon and rolled them).
Step 6
Bake for 15 - 18 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7
